   Schedule Bulk Trash Pickup

   
   Use the form below to request a pickup day for your bulk items.  Bulk items are not to be put out for pickup anytime before the confirmed pickup date. Doing so will violate City Code Section 188-3 Littering and you may be assessed a fine.

   
   Haul Charge

   • Owner occupied properties - There is a $25 haul charge for all scheduled bulk collections up to 2 cubic yards (example: washer and dryer side by side) for owner-occupied properties only.
   • Non-owner-occupied properties - Non owner occupied properties will be charged an additional fee based upon specific bulk items. Owner-occupied properties are exempt from itemized charges.

   Items We Do Not Pickup

   The City of Troy does not pickup:

   • construction debris. We suggest that for these materials, you contact a dumpster company or a private refuse company. 
   • dirt, rocks, bricks, cinder blocks, sand or concrete.

   Do Not Put Items Out Early

   Do not put items out early. Items cannot be put out until after 7 p.m. the night before your confirmed scheduled pickup date. Doing so will violate City Code Section 188-3 Littering and you may be assessed a fine.

   Do Not Put Items Out Before Scheduled Pickup Date

   Do not put bulk items out for pickup until you have received a scheduled pickup day from the Department of Public Works. Doing so will violate City Code Section 188-3 Littering and you may be assessed a fine.

   You must select from the list of items to be picked up or list them in the box provided. To better handle your load we require that you separate your scrap metal from the other items being collected.

   Email Address or Phone Number is Required

   You must enter an email address or phone number in the field provided. We will either call you or email you with a day for pickup when it is confirmed. Putting out bulk items for pickup before receiving a confirmed pickup date will violate City Code Section 188-3 Littering and you may be assessed a fine.
