TROY, NY – The City of Troy is seeking candidates to serve on the Police Objective Review Board. Individuals interested in serving on the Board may submit their names for consideration to the Board via one of the methods below. Applicants should include a resume and written statement as to why they would like to volunteer on the committee.
The goals of the Police Objective Review Board are to improve communication between the police department and the community, to increase accountability and credibility with the public, and to create a complaint review process that is free from bias and informed of actual police practices.
Resumes and statements will be reviewed by the Police Objective Review Board and recommendations will be sent to the Mayor.
This is a voluntary position.
